Reverston Field Visit

This was the final event for the year 2019 exploring Riverstern range of Knuckles forest reserve for seeking its unique biodiversity and learning about ecosystems of knuckles range.

Lower Hanthana Field visit

Exploration of lower hanthana region was the first field event of the year 2019. Snake handling, bird watching, butterfly identification were the main objectives of the visit.

Field visit to Kaludiyapokuna primates conservation & reserch center

The Primate workshop organized by ZAUP to Kaludiyapokuna Primate Conservation and Research Center was successfully concluded on the 11th of June, 2023. Participants were able to learn & explore about the primates of Sri Lanka and got the chance of going on a field visit  to observe langurs.

A sincere gratitude is paid to Dr. Rajnish Vandercone and Dr. Roberta Salmi for conducting the workshop and sharing their valuable knowledge with us.  Thankful for all the participants who helped made the event a success!
